Parlor Gift Shop

The entry parlor, surrounding our welcome desk, is host to a quaint gift shop. Here, we offer a carefully cultivated collection of seasonal local-goods and wares, Heritage House merchandise, and special Heritage House blend coffee beans and teas. This space was formerly known as "The Women's Parlor" and to date, remains decked in an opulent, red rose brocade wallpaper. Steps across the hallway, you will find "The Men's Parlor," adorned in a rich green botantical wallpaper and green velvet curtains. A cozy fireplace with a beautiful turn-of-the -century mantel and hand-painted floral tiles anchors this room, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a cafe or drinkery beverage.
Both parlors still have their original pull-and-levy windows, purchased from the Sears and Roebuck home catalog in the early 1900's. Intricate stained glass windows adorn the transoms and flood the spaces with rainbows of sunshine. All are welcome to come explore the parlors and take a peek at what artists' and crafters' wares are currently featured on the antique-hutch shelves of Heritage House's parlor gift shop.
